Correll Appraisal Services is a full service residential appraisal company which has been servicing lower Fairfield County Connecticut since 1991.  Founded by Stephen Correll, the company provides real property valuations and consulting services for mortgage lending, estate planning, matrimonial matters, marketing and purchasing decisions, litigation and tax assessment appeals.

Stephen Correll is a well-known Connecticut certified residential real estate appraiser with nearly 30 years of experience in the lower Fairfield County, CT region.  Mr. Correll is considered to have an expert reputation in the area of complex appraisals, with extensive experience in waterfront parcels, estate properties, vacant land parcels and antique dwellings along the Connecticut shoreline, with a specific concentration in the town of Greenwich.  Mr. Correll's experience in this unusual market area affords him with a vast knowledge and understanding of local property values, as well as a thorough understanding of historical and future market trends, local building codes and compliance regulations, and valuation methods. 

Mr. Correll has been a Fairfield county resident since moving to Westport, CT in 1971.  He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Southern Connecticut State University in 1984.  He began his career as an in-house residential real estate appraiser with People's Bank in 1986.  After five years of extensive education and professional training in lower Fairfield county,  Mr. Correll left People's Bank and founded Correll Appraisal Services in 1991.  Since then, the firm has developed a stellar reputation for knowledge, experience, credibility, independence and expert competence.

Mr. Correll is an associate member of the Appraisal Institute, a member of the Greenwich Board of Realtors and the Greenwich Multiple Listing Service, and a member of the CMLS multiple listing service.  

His real estate expertise is utilized for matters relating to dissolution of marriage, post-nuptual valuations, tax & estate planning, expert testimony and litigation support, tax assessment appeals, marketing and purchasing decisions and mortgage lending purposes.
